Turns out I’ve been writing since I was a kid! I was visiting my Mom recently and my grown daughter was looking through boxes of old photographs and found a treasure from when I was 10 years old and created ‘my first book!’
It has the date ‘1976,’ which means I wrote this shortly before we moved from the Haight/Ashbury district of San Francisco to the suburbs of Lafayette/Walnut Creek. I listed things that I though were “love”: a sister, a mommy, a cat, puppy, horse, friends, and my own room! HA! Turns out – most of those things still bring me joy!
